A structural inspection is often only carried out when a structural defect or issue is recognised or suspected. Often during the procedure of a Home Buyer’s Survey if any structural problems are suspected they’ll be documented for additional investigation by an experienced structural engineer, who will be able to recognise the precise problem and advise on the possible options to fix.
