A structural inspection is normally only completed when a structural defect or issue is identified or suspected. Usually as part of the process of a Home Buyer’s Survey if any structural problems are suspected they will be documented for additional investigation by a skilled structural engineer, who will be able to determine the specific problem and advise on the practical solutions to correct.
