Technical drawings are created for a wide variety of different products, and you could come across technical drawings at a variety of stages throughout any building work you perform. Ordinarily, technical drawings are created by an architect or structural engineer when planning a conversion or extension. These technical drawings are usually produced for the construction contractor, and will provide specifications for the types of material utilised for specific aspects of the build as well as the techniques of construction to be performed. Technical drawings also include proportions for numerous aspects of the building, including ceiling heights and floor plans.

Technical drawings will also be produced for many of the discrete elements that may be bought as part of the project, for example windows and doors. Manufacturers will produce technical drawings for their products to make sure they can be integrated as easily as possible into building designs. Technical drawings will also typically have to be submitted to local authorities to receive approval that the proposed work conforms to building regulations.

The town of Banbridge is in Northern Ireland’s County Down. It is situated around the River Bann plus a dual carriageway, with its name coming from a bridge that was constructed over the River Bann in 1712. It is included in the civil parish of Seapatrick along with the historic barony of Iveagh Upper, Upper Half. Banbridge is currently the administrative base for the Banbridge District Council. As per the 2011 Census, the town has a permanent resident population of approximately 16653. It is classed as a medium town and of the population, 24.4 percent were aged under 16 years, 16.1% were more than 60 years of age, and 49.5 percent were male, leaving 50.5 percent as female. In its infancy, the town was a coach stop for the road in between Belfast and Dublin, and it prospered in the manufacturing process of Irish linen. A striking part of the town is its distinctive main street, which rises to a steep hill just before levelling out. An underpass had to be built in 1834 as a result of the steep street causing horses carrying heavy loads to faint before they got to the top of the hill. Built by William Dargan, it is officially called the Downshire Bridge, despite the fact that it’s often known as ‘The Cut’. The town is broadly known for being near to the Bronte Homeland in Rathfriland, attracting many guests because of this. A further attraction is the annual busking festival, ‘Buskfest’, which has been running since 2004. Participants have often travelled long distances to busk, plus the competition concludes with an evening concert including performances by recognised artists. For all your property improvement tasks, make sure that you employ reputable pros in Banbridge to ensure you get the very best quality service.
