Technical drawings are created for a variety of different products, and you may come across technical drawings at a range of stages through any building work you perform. Ordinarily, technical drawings are created by an architect or structural engineer when planning a conversion or extension. These technical drawings are typically produced for the building contractor, and will feature specifications for the types of materials used for specific aspects of the build as well as the techniques of construction to be undertaken. Technical drawings also include measurements for various aspects of the building, like roof heights and floor plans.
Technical drawings might be either 2D or 3D depending on the information that should be conveyed in the plans. They could be created either by hand or by using computer aided design, although the majority of technical drawings are produced and delivered digitally as the computer aided design software offers precision measurements.

Barnehurst is a town and district in South East London in the London Borough of Bexley. It’s north east of Bexleyheath, and is 13 miles east south-east of Charing Cross. It’s separated from North Bexleyheath by the A220 Erith Road.
The town was established just after the sale of land in 1881 to develop the Bexleyheath loop line between Lewisham and Dartford. Its name originates from the name of the railway station, which was named after Colonel Barne, who owned a nearby house and was vice-chairman of the railway company. Right now, the railway station runs trains between London Charing Cross, London Victoria or London Cannon Street, by means of Lewisham and Eltham to the west and Dartford railway station to the east. There are 12 trains per hour throughout the week; on Sundays, there are 4 trains an hour. The railway station was openedto stimulate the construction of houses. The Barnehurst Estate was built in 1926 which housed several individuals.
In addition to the railway station, Barnehurst is served by five buses, one of which goes to the popular Bluewater Shopping Centre. There are few shopping or leisure opportunities inside the town, so people generally go to surrounding regions working with public transport links or the primary roads.
Barnehurst is house for the non-league football club Phoenix Sports FC, which plays at Phoenimx Sports Ground.
